Hello everyone! My name is Sara, I’m 35 years old and I live in San Miniato, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Tuscany! I am a licensed national tourist guide and I work in the areas of Florence, Pisa, San Miniato and Vinci.
The great passion for drawing, for art and for travel has accompanied me since I was a child and has also been fueled by my parents, who have spurred me to learn new languages, increase my creativity and travel to meet new places and new realities.
In 2004 I graduated as a business expert correspondent in foreign languages at Carlo Cattaneo technical institute of San Miniato, through which I deepened the study of English, French and German languages.
Around the World
After graduating, I crowned one of my biggest dreams: traveling around the world. I had wonderful experiences, met new people on every continent and came into contact with different reality and habits. I’ve visited a big part of Europe, Morocco, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, China, Cambodia and the United States. The more I traveled, the more I realized that what I wanted to do in life was to transmit love for history and works of art, of which the world overflows.
This opportunity came in December 2017 with the registration for the Florence Tourist Guide course, which I attended for a year, learning about, among other things, all the wonders of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. On 30 October 2018 I graduated, thus managing to become a licensed tourist guide to work throughout Italy.
My Job
From 2019 this new adventure has officially started, through which I met people from all over the world accompanying them in the wonderful cities of Florence, Pisa, San Miniato and Vinci.
This work gives me great satisfactions every time, especially given by tourists who marvel and become passionate by the works of art. Despite I know these places and their stories, every time it’s as if it were the first time, and being able to convey to the tourists the same love that I feel for my land is a priceless sensation. A feeling through which I enrich myself, while doing justice to a wonderful country.
