A walk in our woods in search of one of the most renowned products on earth, the delicious San Miniato truffle: you’ll learn the stories and legends accompanied by an expert truffle hunter and his dog. You can then enjoy this delicious “nugget of the earth” by tasting our tagliolini with truffle or our quail egg!
(The white truffle is the one for which San Miniato is best known but can only be found in the autumn period: during the year there are other varieties)
Once lunch is over, to end your weekend in Tuscany, you can treat yourself to a guided tour of one of the most famous towns in the surrounding area: Vinci.
Home Town of Leonardo da Vinci
This village is best known for being the birthplace of the great genius Leonardo da Vinci and thanks to our guided tour you can learn about its history by visiting the Leonardian museum, where you will find the scale reproduction of his most famous inventions, the church of Santa Croce where the genius is said to have been baptized, the Villa del Ferrale with the faithful reproductions of all his paintings and the birthplace in Anchiano.
